Eeny Meeny Miny NO! a dramatic play by Lachrisa Grandberry.

In the late 1970s deep south, Willow and her cousin Christine observe the struggles of their matriarch, Madear, and Willow's mother, Bernice, who grapples with the weight of family secrets and societal pressures. As the girls uncover generational curses shared between mother and daughter, they begin to question the treatment of black women in society and within their own family. "Eeny, Meeny, Miny, NO!" explores these themes through a blend of realism and spoken word, reflecting the cultural complexities of the black experience and urging listeners to seek a better future. Inspired by the speech patterns and stories of Lula, Mississippi, this narrative delves into the often untold stories of black women's lives.

Produced workshop and public reading in the Milwaukee Black Theater Festival under Milwaukee Chamber Theater and selected as one the Montgomery Davis Play Development Series August 2021.
